Traumatic Intrapericardial Hematoma: An Unusual Cause of Mediastinal Widening

Abstract

A case of localized intrapericardial hematoma following blunt chest trauma is presented. No similar case has been reported. Pulmonary angiography should be obtained if the aortogram is normal in patients with mediastinal widening following blunt chest trauma.
