Abstract

The theory proposed in a previous paper may be also used for the particles deformable due to the increase of hydrostatic pressure between particles during their close contact in a shear flow. The proposed method allows to take into account the disturbances of particles trajectories and the corrections to the van der Waals forces and biospecific interactions caused by elastic deformations of particles. Data on the calculated efficiency of biological cells capture are in a good agreement with experimental results.
