Abstract
Posterior laryngeal clefts are part of the continuum of defects that manifest with laryngotracheosophageal clefts. Repair of these defects is mandatory if the patient is in acute airway distress or suffers unremitting symptoms after conservative treatment. Repair of type-1 A clefts has been performed endoscopically; we describe our method of diagnosis and correction and present a brief case report on endoscopic repair of a type 1-B cleft.
