Non-linear microscope for imaging of the neural systems in live drosophila

Abstract

A custom scanning engine is used to provide fast (22 frames per second at 512 x 480 pixels with 115ns pixel dwell-time), non-linear optical microscopical images of the neural system in d. melanogaster larvae. Design guidelines and resulting images are presented.
