Abstract
Reproductive aged women with gynecologic malignancies often desire future fertility when considering treatment options for their disease. In this review we will discuss the different surgical options available to patients with early stage cervical, ovarian and endometrial cancers. We will also review advances in reproductive technologies such as embryo preservation, oocyte preservation and ovarian tissue preservation and transplantation as potential fertility options for these patients. Recent data indicate that these modalities have efficacy without compromising cancer treatment. It is therefore important for gynecologic oncologists and fertility specialists to consider these strategies for women with early stage malignancies who desire fertility preservation.
