Abstract

Management of patients with limb-threatening ischemia despite a palpable popliteal pulse remains controversial. We have performed femorodistal bypass procedures on 26 such patients. There was no operative mortality. Functional limb salvage for more than a year has been achieved in 17 patients. Life table limb-salvage rates at 1 and 2 years were 82.5 and 74%, respectively.
