Abstract

Microarrays and serial analysis of gene expression have made it possible to detect the expression patterns of thousands of genes simultaneously and are promising tools to understand he mechanisms of transplantation tolerance. Further studies will be necessary to clarify the link between microarray results and the mechanisms of transplantation tolerance, especially in humans.
