Abstract

Non-communicating arachnoid cyst of the lateral temporal bone is a rare conditon. We present a case of a non-communicating arachnoid cyst of the temporal bone in an infant who presented with a lower motor neuron facial nerve paralysis. The patient was treated by surgical excision of the cyst. Copyright (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ireland Ltd.
