Laryngeal carcinoma involving anterior commissure and subglottis

Abstract

The hospital and office records of all patients with subglottic and glottic carcinoma are reviewed. Of a total 591 patients with glottic and subglottic tumors, 5 (1%) had pure anterior commissure lesions, 175 (25%) had vocal cord tumors secondarily involving the anterior commissure, 5 (1%) had primary subglottic tumors, and 132 (22%) had glottic tumors with subglottic extension.
