Abstract

Stenosis and leakage at the site of the bronchial anastomosis are major matters in experimental and clinical lung transplantation. An intussuscepting bronchial anastomotic technic which provides a junction of 2 overlapping opposed bronchial surfaces joined by 2 offset suture lines instead of the standard end to end approximation is described in this report.
