Abstract
The Brazil strain of Trypanosoma cruzi was shown in vitro to be sensitive to the carbamylating agent NaNCO in a dose and time-dependent fashion. The organisms may be irreversibly inhibited by high doses of NaNCO. It was not found to be effective in vivo in acutely infected mice.
