Abstract

This chapter reviews the most common adult brain tumors: metastases, meningiomas, and gliomas. Attention is given to key presenting symptoms, neurologic signs, helpful imaging findings, molecular markers, and up-to-date diagnostic imaging modalities and treatment paradigms. Standard of care guidelines for resection, chemotherapy, and radiation are given as well as data supporting the benefit of tumor treatment fields (TTFields).
