Abstract

The correspondence between the Fc markers and the TH₂^- markers on T cells was studied utilizing an autoantibody to a TH₂^- T-cell subset. This antibody was obtained from a patient with acquired agammaglobulinemia. Lymphocytotoxicity studies and analysis by fluorescence-activated cell sorting show that Tμ cells are enriched in the TH₂^- helper T cell subset defined by the autoantibody.
